This is a fact. Our first encounter is where we chat up a storm to discover what makes you you; what intricate culmination of style you're honing to make your event remarkable, exceptional, momentous. Our goal? We want to know what you hope your guests will feel when they open your invitation. Magazine tear-sheets, photos of your venue, links to your blog, style binders you've scrapped together for your event— bring them all; we love visuals! We'll explore styles, tone, fonts, personality, paper finish, monograms, ink colors, peacock plumes, alligator-stamped leather presentation boxes, etched metal, reclaimed redwood, pressed orchids; you name it. We're here to flesh out your vision with design suggestions, sample papers and sketches.

Couture or Ready to Wear?

Perusing our full collection of Twig & Fig designs will be a fun part of the first meeting. Seeing tangible examples of design, type, color, proportions, helps you define your preferences so we have yet another language for refining the next steps. Some people fall in love immediately with a design as it is (or with a few little tweaks). Others savor the process of having custom tailored elements conjured up specifically to tickle their unique fancies. Either way, leafing through existing designs help us both discover which design elements are more You and which pieces are not; steering us more directly towards finding a perfectly tailored fit for your couture invitations.
